A proliferation of AIJ/JI projects is taking place around the world. Governments, industries, NGOs and researchers are forging innovative partnerships to explore how AIJ/JI can produce development benefits and combat global climate change through improved energy efficiency projects, alternative land use strategies and innovative renewable energy technologies.
Since the first Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), many questions have surfaced about the mechanics and ethics of AIJ/JI. AIJ: A Sourcebook for North and South brings together many responses to these outstanding questions from both industrialized and developing country perspectives.
As a compendium of core materials drawing on the expertise of recognized individuals from major institutions worldwide, this Sourcebook is an indespensible reference tool offering analytical, technical, legal and background information for beginner and expert alike in a single convenient set.
