WFED EDUCATIONAL EXCURSIONS

Some comments and reactions from previous trip participants...

Thank you for giving us a vision of conservation -- of the possibility of working together as a team to learn about environment, about its protection, about its fragile and sensitive interdependence. Thank you for all that you did on our behalf to make the trip seem effortless -- a tremendous amount of energy, creativity, patience, resourcefulness and time. The sixteen of us can never be the same people we were. Each of us grew and benefited from this trip in our own special ways -- from the youngest to the oldest.

The Costa Rica trip was a success on all levels. I know that the events would not have been as successful without your diligent assistance. Thank you for your leadership.
      - Michael Finley, Yellowstone National Park, January 1996 & May 1997

Our trip was a unique opportunity for us to experience something that we will remember for the rest of our lives, and something we would love to repeat again.
    - Sofia Berger, Phaedra Chrousos & Trushna Patel, Washington DC, January 1995

Simply put, WFED’s workshop in Costa Rica was the best scientific experience I have ever had! Why do I say this? WFED had the tremendous foresight to not only assemble the various groups that needed to come together, but also to introduce us to the wonderful way in which the Costa Ricans have organized themselves to link resource conservation with utilization. It was truly inspirational.
